Surprised by the quality

I was very surprised by the quality of this wool. It was $1.50 a ball from The Warehouse during winter. Cheap wools tend to be nasty, itchy and stiff.... but this has crocheted up to make a lovely thick & soft ladies beanie.

I have decided that this head is due to be retired, apart from the fact that her nose is dinted, her head is very small and does not represent an average sized adult head.
